Record keeping for chemists, built around WhatsApp.
A pilot for small chemists and businesses in Nairobi to record sales, payments and stock with less manual work. One-time setup fee, with ongoing support optional.
The last mile still runs on notebooks.
Small chemists log sales and M-Pesa codes by hand. Most business software comes with a monthly bill small outlets won't accept, so the notebook stays. Then nobody can see which lines sell, what's running low or where the money went.
- Sales and M-Pesa codes written in a book
- Stock counted only when something runs out
- No monthly software bill the business will accept
- No view of which products actually sell
"I walked into a local salon and saw the owner writing M-Pesa codes in a book. It was the same problem I'd spent 13 years fighting in health supply chains, just smaller."
What gets built in a pilot.
Sales and payment records
Cash and M-Pesa sales recorded with less retyping, so the day's takings are easy to check.
Stock records
What came in, what sold and what's running low, without a separate stock book.
Evening WhatsApp summaries
A short summary of the day on WhatsApp, if you choose it during setup.
Voice-note support
Recording by voice note, tested during the pilot to check it works for your business.
Built for these teams.
Start small. Prove it. Then grow.
Map the workflow
A 30-minute call on how the work runs today. Who reports what, where it goes, and where it gets stuck.
Find the bottleneck
Usually one or two points where visibility breaks, not the whole operation. That's where we start.
Run a paid pilot
2 to 4 weeks on one region, product line or team, with what counts as success agreed in writing first.
Scale what works
Roll out to more regions or teams only once the pilot has shown results.
Common questions.
Is there a monthly fee?
The pilot is a one-time setup fee and ongoing support is optional. Any messaging, AI or hosting charges are quoted separately before you commit.
Do I need a computer?
It's designed around tools you already use, like WhatsApp on your phone. Message capture and summaries are agreed and tested during setup.
Is it only for pharmacies?
No. The first live build was for a bike retail and repair business in Nairobi with the same problem: stock in notebooks and payments across M-Pesa and several banks.
We're a pharmacy group or clinic. Does this fit?
Yes, at a bigger scale: help choosing and setting up systems for stock records, patient follow-up and staff workflows, with training included.
More of what I build.
Tell me what you're trying to track.
A few lines about your workflow is enough, without patient names or medical details. I'll reply within two working days with either a time for a call or an honest "this isn't the right fit".
